Today you’ll be arriving at Kilimanjaro International airport! My drivers will be prepared for all travelers arriving at different times throughout the day and will bring you safely to me to the hotel in Arusha. I will greet you at the hotel where I’ll give you a rundown of the entire itinerary and schedule. This will be your time to unwind and relax at the hotel, as tomorrow we start our African Safari!

After breakfast we’ll be picked up from our hotel by our guide in Arusha and begin our long drive to the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site which spans over 12,000 square miles. Once we arrive the entry gates for the park, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch then continue our game drive for animal spotting. Our knowledgable guides will track down as many animals as possible for us to witness most of the Big 5 and of course plenty of other incredible species. This will be a full day of exploring the Serengeti, so be sure to bring your camera fully charged!

Once the sun goes down, we’ll finish our game drive for the day and check in to our beautiful tented lodge where we’ll enjoy dinner and relax for a night in the Serengeti. After dinner I highly suggest having some wine and relaxing by the bonfire so you can hear the night come alive!! Lions and hyenas will start to make noises around the camp, but don’t worry! There are 24hr guards around the camp to keep you safe.

Today we'll continue deeper into the Serengeti as we make our way toward the Northern Serengeti, where we'll spend the night in hopes of witnessing one of nature's most incredible spectacles, the Great Wildebeest Migration. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, this region offers one of the best opportunities to see massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, and if we're lucky, even dramatic river crossings filled with unforgettable action.

Along the way, we'll enjoy another full day of game drives through the Serengeti's breathtaking landscapes, keeping our eyes peeled for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, and countless other incredible animals. We'll stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing our search for wildlife, then arrive at our safari lodge in the Northern Serengeti for dinner and an evening surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

This morning we'll head back out for one final game drive through the Northern Serengeti as we continue our search for the Great Wildebeest Migration. With a little luck, we may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra on the move, or even catch the excitement of a dramatic river crossing. Since wildlife is constantly moving, every safari is completely unique, making each game drive a new adventure.

After soaking in the beauty of the Northern Serengeti, we'll begin our journey back toward the Central Serengeti, enjoying more wildlife sightings along the way and stopping for a picnic lunch inside the park. We'll arrive at our safari lodge later in the day to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend another unforgettable night in the heart of the Serengeti.

Today is our final day exploring the Serengeti National Park! For those who choose the optional sunrise hot air balloon safari, you'll start the morning soaring above the endless plains as the sun rises over the African savanna—an unforgettable bucket-list experience. After landing, you'll rejoin the group for breakfast before we continue our final game drive through the park.

Before leaving the Serengeti, we'll visit a traditional Maasai village, where we'll learn about their fascinating culture, traditions, and way of life. From there, we'll continue our journey to our next lodge, making a few final wildlife stops as we exit one of Africa's most iconic national parks.

Please keep in mind that the Hot Air Balloon experience is $600 per person and is optional.

On our last day of our 5 day safari, we will visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater. The first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger-than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos hide, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world.

This marks the end of your safari in Tanzania. We’ll head back to our hotel in Arusha where you’ll get to relax for the night after a long few days of exploring and early mornings!

Today we finally head to paradise!! We’ll catch a flight to Zanzibar, hop in our taxi on the island to our stunning beach front all-inclusive resort!

After so many early mornings and long days of game drives exploring the Serengeti, it’s time for a much needed free day! The resort we’re staying at is all-inclusive, so don’t forget to stop by the bar and grab a free cocktail! Enjoy today lounging by the pool, take a dip in the sea and spend the day how you’d like! There will be optional tours for today if you’d like to continue exploring, but I highly suggest utilizing today in paradise to relax and unwind, because tomorrow we head on an island hopping excursion.

Another full day of adventure awaits on our last full day in Zanzibar together! Today we’ll enjoy some time to swim and sunbathe at the Nakupenda sandbank, where we’ll enjoy lunch, crystal clear waters and more. A fresh seafood lunch will be included on this day (Vegetarian also available).

After we are finished at the sandbank, we’ll head to Stone Town for some last minute souvenir shopping sight seeing.

We’ll arrive back at the hotel in the afternoon just in time to clean up and enjoy dinner. That night we’ll celebrate our day with a few drinks and see where the night takes us!

After a long safari, you’re going to need a day to relax and enjoy this stunning all inclusive resort! Please enjoy the facilities including any of the 4 pools (1 adult only with swim up bar), the spa, free snorkel gear or paddle boards, jet ski’s or just enjoy your time lounging at the beach or swimming in the crystal clear waters!

Unfortunately, today is departure day! You’ll be flying out of Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, Zanzibar’s international airport. Each of you will be taken to the airport according to your international departure times. Remember this isn’t goodbye, this is see you on our next adventure together!
