9 Day Vietnam Experience

Once you land in Ho Chi Minh, you’ll be greeted at the airport and taken to the hotel via a private transfer. Your host, Jamie, will meet you at the hotel to get you settled and kick off the trip together.

Once everyone’s arrived, that afternoon we’ll hit the streets for a food tour around town! This is the ultimate way to dive into the Vietnamese culture!

Spend the day exploring Ho Chi Minh City with a guided tour that dives into Vietnam’s history and daily life, including visits to the War Remnants Museum and the Cu Chi Tunnels. In the evening, we’ll head out on a guided food tour, sampling local dishes and experiencing the city’s vibrant street-food scene after dark.

Today we’ll fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, then continue on to Hoi An. Once the sun goes down, we’ll explore Hoi An’s old town, known for its lantern-lit streets, riverside atmosphere, and lively night scene.

Today we’ll visit the towering Lady Buddha on Son Tra Mountain for sweeping views over the peninsula and bay. We’ll explore the Marble Mountains’ ancient caves, pagodas, and panoramic viewpoints, including the dramatic Âm Phủ “Hell” Cave, before stopping by local stone carving workshops and enjoying an authentic Vietnamese lunch together.

Enjoy a free day in Hoi An to explore at your own pace. Relax at the beach, wander the old town, or take advantage of Hoi An’s reputation for custom-made clothing and leather goods, with tailors able to create pieces in just a day or two.

We’ll fly north to Hanoi and drive straight to Ninh Binh, stopping for lunch along the way. In the late afternoon, we’ll take on an optional scenic hike to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking rice fields and limestone karsts, timed to enjoy the views before sunset.

After breakfast, we’ll head out for a peaceful boat ride through Ninh Binh’s rivers and caves before lunch. From there, we’ll drive back to Hanoi and spend the afternoon and evening exploring the Old Quarter’s bustling streets, shops, and cafés.

This day is yours to enjoy Hanoi at your own pace. Wander the Old Quarter, visit temples or museums, relax at a café, book a massage, or simply soak up the city’s culture and food scene.

Depending on your travel plans, today will be a departure day for some travelers, while others may continue on with the optional extension. Airport transfers will be arranged to ensure a smooth and easy journey home.

For those beginning the Ha Giang Loop, our transfer will arrive early morning to begin the adventure. We’ll make the long journey to the city of Ha Giang where we’ll stay the night to rest and prepare for the incredible 4 day adventure!

Get real to begin the the Ha Giang Loop, which takes us deep into Northern Vietnam’s most breathtaking landscapes. Think dramatic limestone mountains, winding cliffside roads, and the iconic Ma Pi Leng Pass overlooking the emerald Nho Que River canyon.

Over four adventure-filled days, you’ll cruise through the mountains with an easy rider through jaw-dropping scenery, visit remote villages, enjoy authentic local meals, and stay in cozy mountain homestays. It’s raw, immersive, and hands down one of the most epic experiences in Vietnam.

On Day 13 we’ll make our way back into town where we’ll catch the bus back to Hanoi and stay the night. We’ll rest that night so you can prepare for your international flights home.
