Today you’ll be arriving at Istanbul International airport (IST)! My drivers will be prepared for all travelers arriving at different times throughout the day and will bring you safely to me to the hotel in Sultanahmet. Once you arrive at the hotel, I’ll be waiting to greet you in the lobby where I’ll give you a rundown of the entire itinerary and schedule. This will be your time to unwind and relax at the hotel, and maybe walk around to explore the town. That night, we’ll grab dinner at a local restaraunt so everyone can meet each other and chat about the upcoming days of adventure!

Get ready for a cultural journey through this historical city of Istanbul. We’ll visit the famous Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the local bazaar where you can browse and shop. This will be a full day tour to dive into the history of Turkey. We’ll be back at the hotel later in the afternoon in time for you to rest before we head out to dinner!

This morning, we’ll board our flight to the magical region of Cappadocia, famous for its unique landscapes, fairy chimneys, and rich cultural history. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our boutique hotel nestled in this enchanting little town of Goreme.

After settling in, we’ll head out as a group to explore one of Cappadocia’s charming towns. Stroll through cobblestone streets lined with artisan shops, local cafes, and historic architecture. This is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture, pick up unique souvenirs, or savor traditional Turkish tea.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a group dinner at a local restaurant, where you’ll indulge in some delicious local foods. Afterward, enjoy drinks as we soak in the magical atmosphere of Cappadocia under the starlit sky.

The hot air balloons are dependent on weather each day, which is why I gave us 3 days to possibly ride the hot air balloons! I will be notified each day by our hot air balloon pilots, if it is possible to go up. If it is possible today, then you’re in luck! We will be waking up before the sun comes up to head to the base of the hot air balloon departure zone. Hot air balloons will be an optional tour which can be purchased closer to the date of the trip.

If we don’t end up flying this day, please enjoy a day to sleep or join one of the optional tours in Cappadocia. Try out one on of the tours around the valley not listed in the itinerary, maybe you’d be interested in riding horses through the stunning valleys? Whatever optional tour you prefer, we can set it up for you! For those not interested in an optional tour, enjoy your free day around town as there is much to see, do in terms of eating, shopping and even just looking around at this stunning little town!

Around sunset, our guides will pick us up for our ATV tour across the valley for sunset!

After an early morning breakfast, our guides will pick us up from our hotel to take us on the stunning Red Tour where we’ll marvel at the fairy chimneys of Love Valley and Monk Valley, visit Uchisar Castle and Imagination Valley, and explore the UNESCO-listed Goreme Open-Air Museum. Finally, visit the pottery-making town of Avanos and maybe even have a go on the potter’s wheel yourself. Lunch will be included on this full day tour as well as our private guide and transportation.

Note: If we were unable to fly with the hot air balloons on day 6, we will attempt to ride the hot air balloons this morning.

Today we head back to Istanbul after an unforgettable few days in Cappadocia. After a relaxed morning and breakfast at our hotel, we’ll take a short domestic flight back to the city.

Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel and you’ll have free time to explore, shop, grab a coffee, or simply unwind.

For those looking to fully relax and experience a traditional part of Turkish culture, you’ll have the option to enjoy a hammam (Turkish bath) experience—a centuries-old ritual known for its steam rooms, exfoliating scrub, and foam massage that leaves you feeling completely refreshed and reset.

In the evening, we’ll come back together for a farewell group dinner, celebrating an incredible week of experiences, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. After dinner, those who want to keep the night going can head out to enjoy one last night out in Istanbul.

It’s time to say goodbye to Istanbul as our trip comes to an end. Depending on your flight time, enjoy a slow morning, grab one last Turkish coffee, or take a final stroll through the city before heading to the airport for your departure.

As we wrap up an unforgettable week together, we’ll be leaving with new friendships, incredible memories, and experiences that will stay with us long after we’ve returned home.
